High quality, high price
"My cat’s been having many health issues as of the last couple of months, especially digestive ones. I’ve gone into the rabbithole of finding the best cat foods, trying the hypoallergenic diet did nothing (the vet-approved kinds should only have a couple ingredients but for some reason they have a huge unnecessary list) and have come up with 2 solutions : make the food yourself (which I cannot do right now given my personal + living situation) and this gem of a brand for their dry food. This lamb air dried one is focused on a single protein ingredient (lamb) and incorporates many important others like green mussels, taurine etc. No harsh preservatives, no brewer’s yeast, no guar gums or xanthan gums, no “meals”, no carb fillers, … However, it’s extremely hard to justify for the price. I don’t even spend that much on myself. It was an adjustment at first, but he enjoys it. The smell, the texture, it’s all very natural and if you have the budget for it I think nothing will beat this quality (other than, like I said, making food at home but then you have to remember to add all necessary supplements back in like taurine and digestive helpers etc). Lastly and most importantly, don’t forget to feed your cat wet food at least once a day :) (wet food only if you can!!! I travel too much right now so I have an automatic kibble dispenser but I plan on eventually switching to only wet food), to prevent urinary tract infections and promote a very healthy kitty :)"
