Iron Will Raw - Basic Rabbit (For Dogs & Cats) - Frozen Product

Iron Will Raw Basic Rabbit is a single-protein frozen raw food for dogs and cats, made in Canada from just three things: whole ground rabbit with bone, rabbit liver, and rabbit kidney. Nothing else goes in. There are no grains, fillers, thickeners, or vitamin pre-mixes.

Pet parents usually reach for it when their dog or cat reacts to common proteins like chicken or beef. Because rabbit is the only animal ingredient, it's a popular choice for elimination diets and for pets with food sensitivities. Many allergic pets have never eaten rabbit, which is what makes it useful as a novel protein. It's also a simple way to add variety to a rotational raw diet.

Packages stay frozen or cold for about 10 to 12 hours, depending on the product and the weather. Some thawing on arrival is normal, and it's safe to refreeze. Please bring your order inside as soon as you can after delivery.

Thawing: Move a pack from the freezer to the fridge the night before. Once thawed, use it within 2 to 3 days. Don't thaw on the counter or in the microwave.

Switching over: Mix a small amount into your pet's current food and increase it gradually over 5 to 7 days to avoid an upset stomach.

Feeding it long-term: If your pet does well on rabbit and can't tolerate other proteins, it can become a main diet, but it needs to be balanced first. Plain meat, bone, and organ is typically short on nutrients like omega-3s, vitamin E, zinc, and iodine. We recommend working with your vet or a board-certified veterinary nutritionist to add the right supplements, rather than guessing.

Can I feed Iron Will Raw Basic Rabbit to both my dog and my cat?

Yes. It's made for both dogs and cats and contains naturally occurring taurine (0.08% minimum), a nutrient cats in particular need.
